You’re the college student on a budget, or the mom looking for a quick breakfast before you rush out the door to work. Either way, you’re sick of cereal, toast and bananas and need a meal that won’t break the bank or take your time. These Chocolate Oatmeal Bites take less than five minutes to whip together, and the ingredients are probably already in your cupboard!
Makes 8 bites.
Prep and Cook Time: 5 Minutes
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp ground flax seed
- 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
Combine the ingredients in a bowl and stir together until mixture is thick and packed. With your hands, roll the mixture into balls. Put in refrigerator to chill. Eat when you’re hungry! Add an extra tablespoon of water if mixture doesn’t stick together.
