Recipe: Peanut Butter Krispies

This is a sweet twist on my family’s Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Bars. Instead of chocolate? Icing. Lots of it. They taste fantastic, by the way, and they’re super easy to make!

Ingredients:

1 Cup Peanut Butter

1 Cup Karo Syrup

5 Cups Rice Krispies

1 Cup Sugar

Instructions:

Boil the Karo Syrup and sugar in a sauce pan until boiling. Add peanut butter until rich and creamy. Immediately add the Rice Krispies, folding them into the peanut butter mixture until fully coated. Place in a 9×11, spread evenly, and then cover in icing. Or, use cookie cutters to create shapes while the Rice Krispie mixture is still hot. It will be difficult to use the cookie cutters once the mixture has hardened. Place in fridge until chilled. Take out of fridge to thaw before serving. Enjoy!
