DIY Flair Pins

We’re suckers for pastels. We’re even bigger suckers for pastel animals (and badgers of course.) So on this dreary Ohio Saturday, the badger and the bee took a trip to Hobby Lobby. We were gonna make flair pins. And make flair pins we did.

What you’ll need:

  • Wooden medallions (They’re with all the other wooden stuff, near the wooden beads.)
  • Acrylic paints
  • A tiny, tiny paint brush
  • Hot glue gun
  • Pin backs (You can find these in the jewelry section)

Paint the medallions however you like. We love color, so we made sure to add lots of it. The paint dries super fast on the wood, which makes this a quick and fun diy project for a rainy afternoon. Glue the pin backs onto the back of the wooden medallions, let cool—and voila! You just created the cutest pin for your next outfit, your backpack, or purse. Enjoy. ❤
